2016 Warmth for Seniors Recap

Wow what a December! A huge thank you to all of you for helping make our 2016 Warmth for Seniors drive for blankets and socks for Central Indiana seniors such a great success. A special thank you to our cornerstone sponsors: CICOA Aging and In-Home Solutions, Trim Plus LLC, Troy Dixon and Indy Plus Realty Group, Vivizer Healthcare Consulting Group, Katz, Sapper and Miller, Henn Haworth Cummings and Page and Indy Poker League. Additionally, Enterprise Fleet Management, Primepay, Body n Motion Personal Training and Your Journey Team with Keller Williams, who joined us along the way.

Our goal was 150 blankets and socks. We exceeded that goals with 400 blankets and socks. Amazing work, friends!

We were able to deliver 300 festive gift bags to Capitol Village Healthcare, Wheeler Mission Center for Women and Children and CICOA’s case managers. The United Home Healthcare team hand delivered another 110 jolly gift bags to Central Indiana seniors. 

Kudos to William Anderson and Byron Harris and Laura Harris from the United Home Healthcare team for diving in and rolling up their sleeves all month long. And a shout-out to WISH-TV (Bob Guptill and Diane Hook), Indy Style and WRTV-6 (Jason Fechner and Emily Pace) for helping spread the word all month long.
